The meeting was well attended with all the usual suspects in evidence.
The Treasurers report was presentent by treasurer, John G. the statement
of accounts was examined by Rank & File members and found to be acceptable, proposed by Kevin Hancock, seconded by Mick
Vickers.
Regional Representative
Alan had previously informed us that he would not be seeking re-election
this time so a new Representative would have to be chosen.
John Gratton was chosen to serve as Regional Representative for the next
12 months.
Treasurer
Position remains vacant at the moment, if you want the job see the
rep. As security because the treasurers position was not filled at the meeting a second signatory for accounts was
selected to whit Karen Woodward

Mick Ruston accepted this position for the next 12 Months
Quatermaster(s)
Mick 'Popeye' & Annette 'Olive' Walchester took over the running and
ordering of regional regalia, orders to them from now on.
It was agreed that we move our meetings to the 1st & 3rd Friday of
each month, John G will approach the management if the Bird to see if this can be achieved without finding a new venue, however
a new venue has been found, the former British Legion Club in Fenton where we can have a meeting on Friday, if the Bird cannot
accomodate us then a move (after members inspection) will be in order.
The website was updated in November 2008 and is undergoing further uupgrades.
The new Forum is proving popular and a few alterations have been suggested
and are in the course of being carried out.
It was decided to re-introduce this commitee to aid the rep in the
course of his duties, it is to comprise of:
Rep, Treasurer (when post is filled), Site Manager (Popeye), Security
Manager (Brian Scothern), Run Master (Len Edwards) and three general members ( Karen Woodward, Kevin Hancock & Dave Stephenson)
Wing Ding 2010 is to be booked for the weekend of 16th to 18th July 2010
(availibilty permitting), the venue is to be decided at a future meeting.
The charity situation was raised, Staffordshire Air Ambulance will remain
the main benficiary, it was also agred that we adopt / sponsor a Guide Dog for the Blind and a Hearing Dog for the Deaf,
John G. is looking in to this and will present further news at the next meeting
